Servicing and MOT'sThe best way to avoid nasty surprises, either at MOT time or at the roadside, is to keep your vehicle in top condition by having it serviced regularly. As with wheel alignment, not doing so usually proves a false economy, because if relatively cheap components like filters and lubricants are not maintained it will increase the wear on more expensive parts of a car.
Regular servicing may also be a condition of maintaining the manufacturer’s warranty on newer cars. Despite what main dealerships may say, we can do this to the required specification.
Our servicing is fixed price, so you know what you will be paying for the job.
Drivers tend to dread the yearly MOT test, but it doesn’t have to be stressful or expensive.
The MOT Test scheme is designed to ensure that all cars and light goods vehicles more than 3 years old are properly maintained and are safe to be driven on public roads. There’s no getting round it: all cars 3 years old and over require a valid MOT certificate by law, and at least once a year must be examined at an authorised MOT testing station to make sure that they meet the requirements of the MOT test.
Often, a well-looked-after and regularly serviced car will cruise through its MOT. But whatever may need doing, we will get your car through it’s MOT Test as smoothly, quickly and as cost-effectively as possible.
